You may have seen him on our social media recently, receiving some much-needed TLC and medical treatment. Blue's story is not a very nice one. He was seized from his previous owners after suffering for quite some time. This poor boy came into us extremely malnourished and emaciated, needing a cherry eye operation, and needing part of his tail amputating! He is now fully recovered and ready to find his new home. Blue is your typical gentle giant, doesn't know his own size, loves his cuddles and wants to be under your feet at all times. He adores everyone he meets, is energetic when he gets excited, loves to sit on your lap and is a cheeky boy when it comes to his food. Blue has made such a huge impact on all of our staff here, and can't wait to have some humans to call his own! Blue may need some lead training as he can be a little strong at times, and he can get a bit giddy and want to get wherever he wants to go. He does know some basic commands, but nothing a bit of work can't solve and as long as treats are involved. He is keen to learn! He would be best suited to a family that is in most of the day and is willing to work on him being left on his own at his own pace. Are you the one? Blue would ideally need to be the only dog for now, but could eventually live with another dog. He loves seeing his dog friends out and about, so he can have walking buddies. He can be rehomed with children aged 12+ years and has experience with big breeds. If you are interested, then please get in contact by following the button below.
