Found some ducklings and don't know what to do?

Spring is well and truly upon us, and with that comes babies of all species. There are often times when ducklings have been found, and people will take them away without reason.

We have had a few broods brought to our branch, but we are not a wildlife facility. We can only take ducklings in if it is an emergent situation, as we do not have the facilities to keep them long-term. Our best advice would be to contact your local wildlife rehabilitators, as they are more equipped to deal with them.

Caught somewhere that you can't get them?

Our national team are equipped to help wildlife in sticky situations. Contact them on 0300 1234 999, and they should be able to get an inspector out to help! Our branch is a rehoming centre that does not have the training or equipment to help with these rescues, so it would need to be reported to them.
