You may have already seen some of these dogs if you are following other RSPCA centres.

There was a raid recently within the Radcliffe, Greater Manchester area. The police, alongside the RSPCA inspectors, raided a puppy farm and uncovered 70+ dogs in the property.

As a branch, we opened our arms to 6 of these little ones: Angel, Comet, Cupid, Tinsel, Blitzen, and Rudolph. We are unsure of their full breeds, or ages (nor do the previous owners) – but we believe that they are doodle-type, potentially cockerpoos?

They came to us extremely matted, covered in their own faeces, urine-stained, and in need of some medical treatment. Not only that, but they were terrified! Care for these ones will exceed £2000 – including neutering, vaccinations, micro-chipping, parasite prevention, and the list goes on. We will, of course, do this for our animals, but it comes at a heavy hit for an already stretched centre.

We are currently building trust with these little ones and introducing them to small and well-needed grooms. These little ones are coming on amazingly, and we are certain that it will not be long until they are ready to find their new homes.

However, we were wondering whether we had some generous people who wouldn’t mind supporting a self-funded branch? We are looking at raising as much as we can to help pay for these little ones' medical treatments. As a branch, we are self-funded and rely heavily on the general public’s donations to our centre.
