Our services Grooming Services Grooming Types Find your dog's Grooming Type Every dog has a particular grooming type, so let's help you find yours. There are many ways to keep your dogs looking fresh, and we are here to help do that. So let's have a look at what types of grooms we offer: Bath and Brush, Full Groom, Teddy Bear Trim, Hygiene grooms, Puppy grooms and Nail trims Bath and Brush The clue is in the name, really. This service provides your pet with a bath and blow-dry, complete with a de-shed. Not all dogs need clipping up, but having a nice bath regularly has many benefits. It removes dirt from the coat, the dryer and brushing then helps remove all of the dead coat. This is important, especially when the weather is changing. It helps our pets thermoregulate. Teddy Bear Trim This groom is used mainly for your doodle-type dogs with a wool coat. It is a very complex groom, and it makes your doodles look amazing! However, this sort of groom can only be achieved if their coat is kept in good condition. We will need to be able to get a guarded blade through their coat. If there are mattes, these will likely need to be shaved down to the skin. Please bear this in mind when booking. Hygiene Groom This particular groom is often selected for cats and other small animals. It includes the trimming around sanitary areas, toe pads, and cleaning up the coat. A bath is included in this groom, where necessary. Full Groom This can range from clipping short, trimming feathers or skirts, to a tidy-up groom. These are important to keep our dogs looking fresh. Particularly in dogs such as spaniels, ensuring their toe hair is trimmed is essential as grass seeds love to hide there! Nail Trim We offer nail trimming for all species! Ensuring that nails are kept to the correct length is imperative. Having overgrown nails can cause discomfort and arthritis in extreme cases. Puppy Grooming Puppy introduction to grooming. This gets them used to the whole grooming experience and is designed to take things at their pace. We want puppies and dogs to feel confident and safe when they are being groomed. So, we want to introduce them to the environment, such as the noise, smells, and other stimuli, to ensure that they are getting a positive experience. These appointments are typically spread out over a few appointments to ensure that it is not too overwhelming for them. A visit to have a sniff and look around. Tidy up - getting used to scissors and clipper sounds being around their body. Bath and Brush (£15) to get them used to the bath and driers. Want to get booked in? Then click below! Book Now!
